Our mission is to helpyou and your staffreduce stress, boost productivity and increase overall well-beingthrough on-site or private yoga classes and workshops.
Nita (Anita) Miller has enjoyed her own personal yoga practice for more than 18 years. Nita is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) meeting Yoga Alliance Standards and has been teaching at least 4 classes per week in a corporate setting since 2005. In the workplace, Nita has developed and conducts classes that are a gentle style, more restorative and reflective, and designed to reduce stress. No two classes are ever the same…but they do include postures, breath work, relaxation and meditative practices designed to be adaptable to accommodate all skill levels.
Currently, Nita is expanding her corporate yoga business with the intent to hire other instructors to carry forth the mission and work of Twin Cities Metro Yoga. She is also expanding services to include on-site semi-private classes (groups of 4 or less) and private lessons to share the many benefits and rewards found by adding the practice of yoga to one's life.
Along with her yoga business, Nita has been a human service professional and a fundraising professional for more than 14 years with a commitment to making life better for the people she serves. She does advocacy work, public speaking, and classroom facilitation and runs group training programs.Nita has experience working with both non- and for-profit organizations in the Twin Cities, and over the last five years she has provided senior level accounting services on a part-time basis to a local non-profit that helps to end homelessness.
Nita brings with her a wealth of knowledge and is excited about sharing her passion for yoga with the Twin Cities metro community.
