Twin Cities Metro Yoga classes help participants explore simple ways to reduce stress and make big changes in how they feel both at work and at home…every week, a little at a time. We also offer personalized private instruction.
Class Options
Group Classes
Twin Cities Metro Yoga specializes in reducing stress with our customized corporate and organizational yoga-based programs. Employees no longer have to add hours and travel time to their already long days in order to experience the benefits of stress reduction…our morning, lunchtime or rush hour opportunities are available on site. All you need to provide is a space in which to conduct the classes. It could be a cafeteria, gymnasium or a conference room.
To initially build interest in the class, Twin Cities Metro Yoga offers special pricing. We recommend that organizations commit to at least two 4-week sessions of 45-minute classes at a mutually agreed upon time during the work week.
Class Style
Classes in the workplace are generally conducted in a gentle style that aims to be a bit more restorative and reflective. Classes consist of instructor-guided relaxation/reflection, guided postures, a slower moving vinyasa style with emphasis on creating a healing environment for stress reduction, using safety and alignment in building strength and stretching the body, then a return to relaxation posture to prepare to return to the outside world. The class format is designed to be adaptable with modifications included to accommodate all skill levels.
Staff Development Opportunities
At Twin Cities Metro Yoga, we will help you to design a program that can be used during monthly or annual staff development trainings. We will meet with staff from your organization to structure a stress management workshop for your employees. Length of programming can vary from 1 -3 hours to ½ day or full day events.
What makes us unique is that our program utilizes an experiential learning breakout session that give each employee a personal relaxation experience in the art of yoga.
Our programs are very interactive and uplifting. We start with a general overview of stress and its consequences; then we focus on the kinds of stress specific to the different departments of your organization. From there we move into breakout groups so each employee can experience stress reduction options firsthand.
Private Lessons
Our semi-private and private lessons are designed to meet your specific needs and goals. They offer students a more intense, personalized experience.
