Posture tip: today at class (or the next time you practice), try modifying your downward-facing dog pose by slightly bending your knees to release pressure on the hamstrings and then, step your feet out to nearly the outside edges of your mat. It’s helpful to explore slight modifications to our postures for new insights!
Each week (really, each moment of each day, week etc.) we have the opportunity to start anew by observing where we’re at and taking a deep breath with positive thoughts surrounding us. Then, see what happens…
Your yoga practice will also give you this opportunity each week, but a chance to observe and renew for a bit longer…hope to see you at practice today! Using steadiness, ease, and presence of mind as a foundation includes our postures AND our breath work. Observe all during your practice today.
